Inspired by his father, Dave first embraced the art of photography at the age of 18, beginning with his father's vintage Nikkormat 35mm film camera. His passion led him to take photography courses at a community college, further deepening his knowledge and skills. While pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography at the San Francisco Art Institute, Dave worked alongside a professional model and portrait photographer as a darkroom printer and retoucher for five years. During this time, he mastered the development of black and white film and prints, fostering a profound appreciation for traditional film techniques. With extensive experience in both film and digital photography, Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and creative insight to every project. His expertise spans a range of photography services including personal branding, marketing content, lifestyle imagery, headshots, modeling portfolios, as well as studio and location shoots.
